Jones will start Thursday in Boston.

Jones allowed five goals on 36 shots in the Sharks’ overtime loss in Buffalo on Tuesday. The Sharks let that one slip away from them, but they’ll stick with Jones tonight in Boston. The 27-year-old has gone 13-8-2 with a 2.48 GA and .913 SV% on the road this season and the Bruins come in having lost six of their last nine (3-5-1).

Miller will start Thursday in Columbus.

Miller allowed six goals on 39 shots in the Canucks’ loss to Minnesota on Saturday. Jacob Markstrom started on Tuesday, but they’ll go to Miller tonight in Columbus. Miller has lost four games in a row while posting a 3.78 GAA and .889 SV%. Miller allowed four goals on 25 shots in a 4-3 OT loss in his first start vs. the Blue Jackets.

The Sabres have recalled Derek Grant from Rochester (AHL).

Grant had three assists in 35 games with the Sabres earlier this season before ending up in Nashville via waivers. He had one assist in six games with Nashville but was reclaimed by the Sabres last week. With Evander Kane listed as a game-time decision, Grant has been recalled and could draw into the lineup tonight.

Anderson (concussion protocol) is expected to play on Thursday.

Anderson missed the third period vs. the Red Wings after being hit by Brendan Smith and did not return. Despite being in concussion protocol, it looks like Anderson will be in the lineup on Thursday. Anderson has 10 goals and nine assists (19 points) in 51 games this season.

Kane (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.

Kane was hurt while scoring a goal in the Sabres’ win over the Sharks on Tuesday. Kane is listed as a game-time decision and the Sabres are hoping he will play because he’s been red-hot lately. The winger has scored four goals with five assists (nine points) while firing 43 shots in his last eight games.

Greiss will start Thursday in Philadelphia.

Greiss allowed five goals on 32 shots in the Islanders’ overtime win over the Maple Leafs on Monday. Greiss has won four of his last five starts while posting an .885 SV% and he’s allowed five goals in back-to-back games. Greiss stopped 44 of 47 shots in a 3-2 OT loss in his first start versus the Flyers this season.

Bobrovsky will start Thursday vs. the Canucks.

Bobrovsky allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Blue Jackets’ overtime win over the Red Wings on Tuesday. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for Bobrovsky, who is now tied with Devan Dubnyk for the NHL lead in wins (29). In his first start vs. the Canucks, ‘Goalie Bob’ stopped 14 of 17 shots in a 4-3 OT win.

Condon will start Thursday vs. the Stars.

Condon allowed four goals on 25 shots in the Senators’ loss in Buffalo last Saturday. Andrew Hammond got the nod on Tuesday, but they’ll come back to Condon tonight vs. the Stars. Condon has gone 7-3-5 with a 2.30 GAA and .920 SV% in 15 starts at the Canadian Tire Centre so far this season.

Holtby will start Thursday vs. the Red Wings.

Holtby stopped all 23 shots that he faced in the Capitals’ shutout win over the Hurricanes on Tuesday. Holtby is riding a six game winning streak while posting a 1.83 GAA, .930 SV% and one shutout over that stretch. In his first start against the Red Wings, Holtby stopped all 25 shots that he faced in a 1-0 shutout win back in November.

Lundqvist will start Thursday vs. the Predators.

Lundqvist made 43 saves on 44 shots in the Rangers’ win in Anaheim on Tuesday. Lundqvist has won three in a row while posting a strong 1.64 GAA and .956 SV%. Lundqvist is playing very well right now and he was great in his first game versus the Predators—he stopped 31 of 32 shots in a 2-1 shootout win in mid-December.

Reimer will start Thursday vs. the Kings.

Reimer allowed one goal on 23 shots in the Panthers’ win over the Ducks last Friday. Reimer has won two in a row while stopping 53 of 55 shots (.964 SV%). Reimer has had a nice season in Florida and he comes into tonight’s meeting with the Kings with a 5-3-1 record, 2.31 GAA and .927 SV% in his first 10 games on home-ice.

Andersen gets the nod for the Leafs on Thursday.

Andersen surrendered six goals on 34 shots in the Maple Leafs’ overtime loss in Brooklyn on Monday. Curtis McElhinney was great in a win vs. Dallas on Tuesday, but Andersen will get back in goal tonight vs. the Blues. He has lost three of his last four starts while allowing a combined 19 goals on 114 shots (.833 SV%). One of those losses came against the Blues, who he’ll face again tonight.

Lehner will start Thursday vs. the Ducks.

Lehner allowed two goals on 39 shots in the Sabres’ loss in New Jersey on Monday. Anders Nilsson started on Tuesday, but they’ll go back to Lehner tonight vs. the Ducks. Lehner has lost three of his last four starts despite posting a 2.23 GAA, .942 SV% and one shutout. Lehner has gone 6-7-3 with a 2.17 GAA and .933 SV% on home ice this season.

Bourque (lower-body) skated in a non-contact sweater on Wednesday; won’t play on Thursday.

Bourque has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury and will miss No.3 tonight vs. the Penguins. He remains day-to-day and there’s no word on when he’s expected to return to the lineup.
