LaDue is expected to make his NHL debut on Tuesday.

LaDue, 24, was called-up on February 1st and is expected to draw in tonight vs. the Lightning. The 2012 sixth round pick had six goals and 12 assists (18 points) in 36 games with Ontario (AHL) at the time of his call-up.

Budaj was the first goalie off of the ice.

Budaj was pulled after he allowed four goals on 15 shots in the Kings loss in Washington on Sunday. It was a tough loss for Budaj, who posted back-to-back shutouts in his two previous starts. Budaj has played very well this season, going 25-15-3, but he allowed two goals on 29 shots in a 2-1 loss in his first start vs. Tampa Bay.

Bishop will likely start Tuesday vs. the Kings.

Bishop made 14 saves on 16 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Ducks on Saturday. It was an easy outing for Bishop, who has just 12 wins in 27 starts this season. In mid-January he took on the Kings, like he will tonight, and he turned aside 31 of 32 shots in a 2-1 win that night.

Ben Bishop
Niemi was the first goalie off of the ice this afternoon.

Niemi was pulled after he gave up two goals on five shots in the Stars loss to the Sabres on January 26th. Kari Lehtonen has played a lot recently, but Niemi will get a shot tonight in Toronto. Niemi is 2-4-2 with a 4.57 GAA and .863 SV% in seven starts and three relief appearances on the road.

Antti Niemi
Nilsson will start Tuesday vs. the Sharks.

Nilsson allowed four goals on 37 shots in the Sabres’ loss in Dallas on January 26th. Robin Lehner started the last four games, including last night’s game, but Nilsson will get in tonight vs. the Sharks. The 26-year-old has gone 6-1-1 with an impressive 1.84 GAA and .946 SV% on home ice this season.

Anders Nilsson
Hayes (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Hayes has missed the last five games with a lower-body injury, but is expected to play tonight vs. the Ducks. If Hayes can play, Matt Puempel will be the healthy scratch. He comes into Tuesday with 13 goals and 22 assists (35 points) in 47 games.

Kevin Hayes
Gibson will start Tuesday in New York.

Gibson surrendered two goals on 37 shots in the Ducks’ loss in Florida last Friday. Jonathan Bernier started on Saturday, but they’ll go back to Gibson tonight in New York. He has gone 6-6-6 with a 2.50 GAA and .911 SV% in 17 starts and two relief appearances on the road so far this season.

John Gibson
Lundqvist will start Tuesday vs. the Ducks.

Lundqvist allowed three gaols on 32 shots in the Rangers’ win over the Flames on Sunday. Lundqvist rebounded from two straight losses to win two in a row while allowing just four goals on 69 shots (.942 SV%). Tonight he will take on a Ducks team that has lost four of their last six games.

Henrik Lundqvist
McElhinney will start Tuesday vs. the Stars.

McElhinney allowed three goals on 12 shots after replacing Frederik Andersen in the Maple Leafs’ blowout loss in Dallas on January 31st. With Andersen starting last night, McElhinney will face the same Stars team tonight on home-ice. He is 1-2-0 with a 2.52 GAA .916 SV% since being claimed by the Maple Leafs.

Curtis McElhinney
Holtby will start Tuesday vs. the Hurricanes.

Holtby allowed two goals on 22 shots in the Capitals’ win in Montreal on Saturday. Holtby has won five in a row while posting a 2.20 GAA and .919 SV%. He has taken over as the best fantasy hockey netminder and he’ll face the Hurricanes for the second time this season—he stopped 25 of 26 shots in a 6-1 in their first meeting.

Braden Holtby
Murray will start Tuesday vs. the Flames.

Murray allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Penguins’ win over the Blue Jackets on Friday. Marc-Andre Fleury started on Saturday’s win, but Murray will be in net tonight vs. the Flames. The 22-year-old is an impressive 11-1-1 with a 2.39 GAA and .928 SV% at the PPG Paints Arena this season.

Matt Murray
Hammond will start Tuesday vs. the Blues.

Hammond stopped the only shot that he faced after replacing Mike Condon in the Senators’ loss in Buffalo on Saturday. Tonight he’ll make his fourth start of the season and it is likely a way to showcase him before Craig Anderson is set to return. Hammond has an .857 SV% in five appearances this season.

Lack was the first goalie off of the ice this morning.

Lack has not played a game since November 10th, when he lasted just 28 seconds vs. the Ducks. It has been an injury-filled season for Lack, who has gone 1-2-1 with a 3.79 GAA and .856 SV% in four starts and one relief appearance. It looks like he’ll draw a terrible matchup tonight against a red-hot Capitals team.

Eddie Lack
Mrazek will make his third straight start on Tuesday.

Mrazek stopped all 42 shots that he faced in the Red Wings’ shutout win in Nashville on Saturday. Mrazek has struggled in 2016-17, but Saturday was his best performance by far. He has won two in a row while stopping 74 of 78 shots (.948 SV%). Tonight he’ll face a Columbus team that has lost four of their last five.

The Predators placed Harry Zolnierczyk (undisclosed) on IR on Monday.

Zolnierczyk was on the ice for practice, but was placed on IR, so there’s no word on what is ailing the rugged winger. Expect Vernon Fiddler to take Zolnierczyk’s spot in the lineup on Tuesday.

The Blue Jackets will not hold a morning skate on Tuesday.

The Blue Jackets have been skipping their morning skates for the majority of the year, so it’s not surprising to see them doing so today. It was easier to just pencil Bobrovksy in earlier in the year, but he’s now lost four in a row while allowing four goals in each start with an .864 SV%.
