Ellis stopped 32 of 34 shots in the Panthers 2-1 loss to the Rangers on Sunday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Ellis. Ellis has gone 3-1-1 with a 1.95 GAA and .929 SV% in five starts since being recalled. Roberto Luongo is still out, so Ellis will make his sixth straight start. He draws a tough matchup with the Canadiens in town.

Krejci is three weeks into a 4-6 week timetable. He will not play tonight, but Krejci said he is close to returning to the lineup. The Bruins have three more games this week, so continue to monitor his status as the week progresses.
Rissanen will miss at least three weeks with an MCL injury. Ryan Murphy is expected to replace Rissanen after missing the last two games with an illness.
Elias will miss his second straight game with back spasms. Elias is day-to-day and will likely be replaced by Michael Ryder again.
Svedberg allowed three goals on 39 shots in the Bruins win over the Red Wings on March 8th. With Tuukka Rask starting the last four games, including both games of a back-to-back on the weekend, it looks like Svedberg will go tonight vs. the Sabres. He makes for a great spot-start having gone 2-0-0 with a 0.99 GAA and .957 SV% vs. Buffalo this season.
Khudobin allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Hurricanes win in Columbus on Sunday. The win looks like it has earned him a second straight start tonight vs. the Senators. Khudobin earned a win over the Sens back in January by stopping 30 of 32 shots. Khudobin has gone 4-6-0 with a 2.20 GAA And .916 SV% at home this season.
Visnovsky was believed to be a healthy scratch on Saturday but now he is day-to-day with an undisclosed injury. Visnovsky will be replaced by Matt Donovan once again.
Jenner has been out since December 18th, but he took part in the Blue Jackets practice this morning, including line rushes, which is a great sign he is nearing a return. He will travel with the team to Western Canada and should return to the lineup at some point during the trip.
Hammond made 27 saves on 28 shots in the Senators shootout win over the Flyers on Sunday. His incredible streak continued—he comes into play on Tuesday at 10-0-1 with a 1.39 GAA and .955 SV% in his first 11 NHL starts. The only team he has had a tough time with was in his first NHL experience vs. the Hurricanes—they scored two goals on five shots in just over a period.
Anderson’s hand injury has reportedly flared up and it will keep him out of tonight’s game in Carolina. With Anderson back in the press box, the Senators have recalled Chris Driedger from Binghamton (AHL) to back up Andrew Hammond.
Driedger, 20, has gone 2-0-0 with a 3.00 GAA and .891 SV% with Binghamton this season. He will backup Andrew Hammond tonight because Craig Anderson’s hand injury has flared up.
Poulin, 24, has gone 15-16-7 with a 2.82 GAA and .915 SV% with Bridgeport this season. With Jaroslav Halak out, Poulin will likely serve as Michal Neuvirth’s backup tonight.
Halak did not travel with the team to Chicago, so Halak will not be available on Tuesday. The Islanders have recalled Kevin Poulin, so it will be either Poulin or Michal Neuvirth. Halak’s injury is not believed to be serious.
Elliott allowed three goals on 19 shots in the Blues loss to the Wild on Saturday. Jake Allen started on Sunday, but it will be Elliott tonight in Calgary. Elliott has gone 3-2-0 with a 2.14 GAA and .911 SV% in his last five starts. He had 23 saves in a 4-1 win over the Flames back in October.
Quick allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Kings loss to the Predators on Saturday. Tonight will be his eighth straight start—Quick has gone 4-2-1 with a 2.07 GAA and .903 SV% in his preious seven starts. He has gone 1-0-1 with a 2.40 GAA and .912 SV% against the Coyotes this season.
Hall skated in a full team session for the first time since early February. Hall was unable to provide a timeline for his return, but he said he is feeling better. He is going to continue to skate and see how his ankle responds before his return is imminent.
Orpik will miss his fourth consecutive game with a lower-body injury. He remains day-to-day but could be back for Thursday’s game in Minnesota.
Holtby stopped all 32 shots that he faced in the Capitals 2-0 shutout win over the Bruins last night. It was a nice bounce-back performance for Holtby, who draws an excellent matchup vs. the Sabres. Holtby is 1-3-1 with a 3.05 GAA and .898 SV% on no rest this season.
St. Louis suffered a lower-body injury on Sunday vs. the Panthers. He will miss at least 10 days, which should open the door for Kevin Hayes to take on a bigger role for the next 1-2 weeks.
Hornqvist suffered an unspecified injury in the Penguins 5-1 loss to the Red Wings on Sunday. He dropped his stick and appeared to be in visible pain while leaving the ice, but he didn’t even appear to take any contact prior to dropping his lumber. Hornqvist is expected to miss all three games this week.
