Halak will get the nod for the Islanders.

Halak stopped eight of 10 shots in the Islanders win over the Sabres on Sunday. Yep, he faced a total of 10 shots in a full 60-minute NHL hockey game…Buffalo is crazy bad. It could be a similar night tonight with the Oilers in town. Halak enters play tonight 4-2-0 with a 2.65 GAA and .899 SV% in his last six starts.

Glencross had no points in 13:48 in his return to the Flames lineup on Monday.

Glencross had missed the previous 10 games with a lower-body injury, but was back on the third line on Monday vs. the Sharks. He was eased back into the lineup but should be able to work his way back up the depth chart.

Curtis Glencross
Carter left Monday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Carter left in the first period after crashing into the end boards. He was reportedly seen leaving the rink with his arm in a sling and according to coach Mike Yeo, he is not expected to be back in the lineup in the near future. With the Wild down two forwards and just one healthy scratch on Monday, expect a roster move on Tuesday.

Ryan Carter

The Blues reassigned Ty Rattie to Chicago (AHL) on Monday.

Rattie had one assist, two PIMS and three shots on goal while averaging 8:56 TOI in five games during his recall. With Jori Lehtera set to return on Tuesday, the Blues had to make room.

Ty Rattie
Bonino left Monday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Bonino left after playing 7:42 and did not return to the Canucks 5-3 loss to the Wild. He was spotted wearing a walking boot when he was leaving the arena which suggests the injury is to his foot or ankle. Consider him day-to-day until the Canucks release a full injury report.

Smith is expected to start the second game of the Coyotes back-to-back as well.

Smith made 36 saves on 38 shots in the Coyotes 3-2 shootout win over the Blackhawks last night. Despite the busy night, he is expected to go again tonight in St. Louis. All of the Mike Smith of old is back—he has gone 2-1-1 with a 1.45 GAA and .956 SV% in his last four starts. However, tonight's matchup on the tail-end of a back-to-back is terrifying from a fantasy perspective.

Quick leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick stopped 26 of 28 shots that he faced in the Kings 4-2 win over the Lightning on Saturday. It was an important win for Quick, who has had his fair-share of struggles this season. He enters play on Monday 16th in the NHL in wins (18), 23rd in GAA (2.51) and 28th in SV% (.910), not quite what owners were expecting when he was drafted in the second round (on average).
