The Boston Bruins have announced a trio of signings, coming to terms with defensemen Alec Regula & Reilly Walsh and goaltender Michael DiPietro to matching one-year, $775,000 contracts.

DiPietro, 24, was a restricted free agent after the conclusion of his one-year, $840,000 contract that he originally signed with the Vancouver Canucks.

DiPietro spent a majority of his season in the ECHL with the Maine Mariners, where he had a 19-9-0 record, a .918 save percentage, and one shutout in 29 regular season games, along with an 0-2 record and a .902 save percentage in two playoff games. He also played one game in the AHL with the Providence Bruins, winning that game with a .943 save percentage.

DiPietro was a third-round pick for the Canucks in 2017, spending most of his pro career with that organization before he was dealt to the Bruins along with Jonathan Myrenberg in exchange for Jack Studnicka early in the 2022-23 season.

Regula, 22, was a restricted free agent after the conclusion of his three-year, entry-level contract with an $866,667 cap hit that he originally signed with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Regula spent most of his season in the AHL with the Rockford IceHogs, where he had 5 goals, 16 assists, and 21 points in 51 regular season games, along with one assist in five playoff games. He also played four games in the NHL with the Blackhawks this season, being held without a point in those games.

Regula was a third-round pick for the Detroit Red Wings in 2018, and was dealt to the Blackhawks early in the 2019-20 season in exchange for Brendan Perlini. He was traded to the Bruins this offseason along with Ian Mitchell as part of the return for sending Taylor Hall and Nick Foligno to the Blackhawks.

Walsh, 24, was a restricted free agent after the conclusion of his three-year entry-level contract with a $925,000 cap hit that he originally signed with the New Jersey Devils.

Walsh spent the entirety of his season in the AHL with the Utica Comets, with 9 goals, 32 assists, and 41 points in 71 regular season games. He also had four goals, one assist, and five points in six playoff games for the Comets.

Walsh was a third-round pick for the Devils in 2017, spending most of his pro career in that organization before he was dealt to the Bruins this offseason for Shane Bowers.
