Oettinger will start Game 5 on Wednesday vs. Colorado.

Oettinger was fantastic in Game 4 yet again stopping 24 of 25 shots (.960 SV%) for his third-straight win over Colorado as Dallas took a commanding 3-1 series lead and will start Game 5 as expected on Wednesday. The 25-year-old has been a brickwall the entire playoffs, with his 7-4-0 record, 2.02 GAA and .923 SV%. He'll host the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday, who are on the brink of elimination and have only won six games in their last three playoff series'.

Bourque has been recalled from Texas (AHL) on Wednesday.

With Texas (AHL) officially eliminated from the playoffs, Mavrik Bourque has been recalled as playoff depth for the Stars' as they look to proceed into the third round on Wednesday. The 22-year-old has already appeared in one playoff game in Dallas' opening round series, picking up two SOG across 10:56 TOI/GP.

Faksa will draw back into Dallas' lineup for Game 5 on Wednesday vs. Colorado.

Faksa has not played in Dallas' previous three playoff games but will draw back into the lineup as he replaces the injured Roope Hintz (upper body) on Wednesday vs. Colorado. The 30-year-old has appeared in four of Dallas' 11 games so far and has a goal, and five SOG in four games played while averaging 10:42 TOI/GP.

Tanev (undisclosed) is good to go for Game 5 on Wednesday vs. Colorado.

Tanev left Game 4 early due to an undisclosed injury but is good to go for Game 5 on Wednesday vs. Colorado. The 34-year-old was acquired at the trade deadline from Calgary and has been as lockdown as expected with his one assist, 10 SOG and +7 plus/minus in 11 games played.

Hintz (upper body) will be out for Game 5 on Wednesday and is considered day-to-day.

Hintz left Game 4 after playing only eight shifts and 6:35 TOI due to an upper-body injury and will be out for Game 5 on Wednesday vs. Colorado. The 27-year-old centre will be replaced by Radek Faksa but will be a massive loss with his two goals, six points and six PIMs in 11 playoff games before his injury.

Oettinger will start Game 3 on Saturday in Colorado.

Oettinger stopped 28 of 31 shots (.903 SV%) in Game 2 as Dallas evened their second-round series with a 6-3 win over Colorado and will remain with the same lineup for Game 3. The 25-year-old has been a wall this offseason between Dallas' crease, with his 5-4-0 record, 2.24 GAA and .914 SV%. He will head to Colorado to take on the Avalanche on the road, who have won five of their first seven playoff games.

Faksa has missed some time in the postseason due to injury but will be a healthy scratch on Thursday with Mason Marchment returning to the lineup. Expect Evgenii Dadonov to move down the lineup to replace Faksa on the fourth line.

Marchment has been out since Game 2 of Round 1 with an undisclosed injury, but he will replace Radek Faksa in the lineup on Thursday. Marchment enjoyed the best season of his career in 2023-24, scoring 22 goals with 31 assists (53 points) in 81 games--he had one goal in the first two games of Round 1.

Oettinger will start Game 1 on Tuesday vs. Colorado.

Oettinger was sensational in the Stars' opening seven-game series as he helped lead Dallas over Vegas with a 4-3-0 record, 1.95 GAA and .925 SV%. The 25-year-old surpassed the 30-win mark for a third straight season (35) but had his first ever below .910 SV% since joining the NHL four seasons ago (.905 SV%). He will host the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday, who have won their last four games after taking down the Winnipeg Jets in a five-game opening series.

Oettinger will start Game 7 on Sunday vs. Vegas.

Oettinger stopped 28 of 29 shots (.966 SV%) in a hard-fought Game 6 loss and will start as expected as Dallas hosts Vegas for Game 7 on Sunday. The 25-year-old has started every game of the playoffs thus far for Dallas and holds a 3-3-0 record, 2.10 GAA and .921 SV% through six games. He'll look to close out the series on Sunday as he hosts the Vegas Golden Knights, who finished the regular season 13th in goals per game (3.21).

Faksa has not appeared since Game 2 due to an undisclosed injury but will draw back into the lineup on Sunday for Game 7 vs. Vegas. The 30-year-old did not pick a point through his first two games played but did have two SOG and -1 plus/minus while averaging 9:00 TOI/GP.

Ty Dellandrea will be a scratch for Game 7 vs. Vegas.

Dellandrea has appeared in four games for Dallas in their opening series but will be a scratch for Game 7 vs. Vegas as Radek Faksa returns to the lineup. The 23-year-old had one goal, five SOG, and two PIMs while averaging 11:57 TOI/GP through his four games played.

Bourque has been loaned to the Texas Stars (AHL).

With Texas (AHL) reaching the second round of the AHL playoffs, Mavrik Bourque has been loaned back to the Stars to continue their playoff push. The 22-year-old will make a much welcomed return after he led Texas in scoring during the regular season with 26 goals and 77 points in 71 games played.

Marchment appeared in the first two games of the Stars' opening series but will miss his third straight contest on Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury. The 28-year-old had a goal and three SOG in his short two-game showing to start the playoffs and is considered day-to-day as he hopes to return for Game 6 in Vegas.

The 25-year-old had a down season as far as counting stats but has pulled it together in the playoffs and has a decent 2-2-0 record, 2.38 GAA and .907 SV% in four games played. He'll look to pick up the series first home victory and take a lead over Vegas as they host the Golden Knights for Game 5 on Wednesday.
