Martinook was limited to only 5:44 time-on-ice in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Nashville Predators, exiting the game with a lower-body injury. The 33-year-old has 11 points (4G / 7A) in 33 games and will be out of the lineup on Friday against the Florida Panthers.

Martinook was forced to leave Tuesday's game with an upper-body injury and will not be available tonight vs. the Hurricanes. Lucas Wallmark will draw back into the lineup to replace him.

Martinook has been out since October 8th after undergoing core muscle surgery. Martinook has one assist in four games this season. Brian Gibbons was waived on Friday, so Martinook will return to the lineup on Saturday.
