Predators lose fourth straight in 5-3 loss to Hurricanes
The Carolina Hurricanes reunited their top line of Teravainen-Aho-Svechnikov, and the trio connected for three goals, with Svechnikov leading the way (2G / 1A).
The Nashville Predators pulled their goalie, down 4-1, with just under six minutes to play in regulation. They scored two goals with the extra attacker to make it interesting before Andrei Svechnikov put the game away, scoring his second goal of the night into the empty net. The Predators started the month in second place in the Central Division. They have now fallen into the first Wild Card spot, only three points up on the Los Angeles Kings.
Oettinger and Fleury both record shutouts in Stars win
The rare double-shutout occurred on Friday night as the Dallas Stars defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 1-0 in a shootout. Marc-Andre Fleury was terrific in the loss, saving all 29 shots he faced, none better than a point-blank glove save on Roope Hintz late in the second period.

Marchment does it again
Just three games removed from a six-point performance, Mason Marchment scored a hat-trick for the Florida Panthers, guiding them to a 6-2 win over the Minnesota Wild.
