Most and Least Profitable NHL Favorites
Even after losing as big home favorites to Anaheim on Thursday, the Winnipeg Jets are having a stellar season as favorites, winning 80% of their games and earning bettors nearly 10 units of profit. They’re 24-6 straight-up as moneyline favorites, edging out Vegas, which is 21-6. That said, the betting market had slightly higher expectations for the Golden Knights.

Nashville might be the biggest disappointment overall, as it has struggled in every scenario, but New York State has been a money pit, as the Islanders, Rangers, and Sabres have been three of the four least profitable teams overall. In fact, not even the New Jersey Devils have been profitable, despite looking like a Stanley Cup contender.
