2024 NHL All-Star Game: Full list of first 32 players chosen

Let the debates begin.

The initial 32 players for the upcoming 2024 NHL All-Star Game were revealed Thursday night during ESPN’s broadcast of the Pittsburgh Penguins visiting the Boston Bruins, with Atlantic and Metropolitan Division lists dropping before the game and the Central and Pacific groups revealed during the first intermission.

Here’s a complete look at the first 32 players named so far, with their number of career selections in brackets:

The initial 32 players, selected by the NHL, included one from each franchise. The remaining 12 will be selected via fan vote to produce a total of 44 players competing in the 2024 All-Star Game in Toronto.

The festivities begin Thursday, Feb. 1 with the return of the player draft. Team captains, paired with celebrities, pick their rosters from the remaining players in the pool of 44. Friday, Feb. 2 will feature a revamped skills competition with a select 12 players competing for a $1 million prize. The festivities conclude with the All-Star Game, a 3-on-3 tournament, played Sunday, Feb. 3.
