— Anaheim Ducks (@AnaheimDucks) July 15, 2025Clang was a restricted free agent after the conclusion of his three-year entry-level contract with an $878,333 cap hit. Nothing is known about Clang’s new contract outside of that it’s a one-year contract and that it’s two-way. Any bonuses, or what the salary would be for Clang when he plays in the AHL.
Clang had his first full season in the AHL in 2024-25, where he had an 11-13-4 record and an .895 save percentage in 31 games. That was just about on par with his 2023-24 season, where he had an .897 SV%.
Clang was a third-round pick by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2020 NHL Draft out of Sweden, although before he could transition to the North American professional game, he was traded to the Ducks as part of the return for Rickard Rakell. He has yet to make his debut at the NHL level.
Mysak was also an RFA after the conclusion of his three-year entry-level contract with an $828,333 cap hit, although the contract slid one year after he signed it in 2021-22. His new deal comes at a $775,000 cap hit with no confirmed bonuses, and with it being a two-way deal, he will be paid $90,000 in the AHL.
Mysak had his best season in the AHL yet in 2024-25, as he had 18 goals and 24 assists for 42 points in 68 games. It far surpassed his previous career highs in all three stats of 14, seven and 21 from 2023-24.
Mysak was a second-round pick by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2020 NHL Draft out of the OHL. He spent parts of three seasons at the pro level with the Laval Rocket before he was dealt to the Canadiens at the 2024 trade deadline for Jacob Perreault. He’s since spent the past two seasons with the San Diego Gulls, and has yet to make his NHL debut.
