Arizona Coyotes get more draft picks for taking on Anton Stralman

The Arizona Coyotes’ summer of spending money to acquire draft picks and prospects continues.
According to Elliotte Friedman, the Coyotes are receiving prospect Vladislav Kolyachonok, a second-round pick in 2024, and a seventh-round pick in 2023 for taking on the contract of @Anton Stralman from the Florida Panthers.
FLA/ARIZ deal is Stralman, Vladislav Kolyachonok (52nd in 2019), and a 2nd in 2024 for a 7th in 2023. @PierreVLeBrun had Stralman approval

Stralman, a 14-year veteran in the NHL, carries a $5,500,000 cap hit for one more season. He played in 38 games for Florida in 2021, logging 18:57 per night and scoring nine points.
The Panthers are in a tight situation and badly needed to open up salary cap room. They just inked @Sam Bennett to a four-year contract extension and they need to also sign the newly acquired @Sam Reinhart to a new deal as well. Given he’s only one year from unrestricted free agency, Reinhart, who’s coming off of a 40-point season, will be looking for a big, long-term contract.
The Coyotes have now added 10 draft picks over the course of their tear-down this off-season. They dealt @Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Conor Garland to Vancouver and Adin Hill to San Jose and have taken on the contracts of Stralman, @Andrew Ladd, @Shayne Gostisbehere, @Antoine Roussel, @Jay Beagle, and @Loui Eriksson.
Despite these additions, the Coyotes are still over $10,000,000 below the salary cap ceiling and could potentially add more dead money. There are rumours that @Phil Kessel and @Darcy Kuemper could be on their way out, too.
