Betano Daily Bets: 2023-24 Atlantic Division odds

Frank Seravalli joined Daily Faceoff Live for another Betano Daily Bets segment.
Draft week is over! We now look forward to free agency and the pre-season. Today, Seravalli filled in for Tyler Yaremchuk and took a look at some future odds for the 2023-24 season.
Frank Seravalli: Let’s check out our daily bets with Betano. 19+, please play responsibly. The game starts now with Betano.ca, and let’s jump into it.
Frank Seravalli: it’s interesting to look at the odds boards, and I know we’re already talking about futures and next year’s Stanley Cup and Conference winners, but if you have a hunch that a team might be a big player, maybe it’s time to get in a futures bet on a team whose odds a lower where you can then capitalize and cash in on.
I wanted to focus on the Atlantic Division odds; to me, it’s very interesting heading into next season, and when you look at the odds boards over on Betano.ca, you’ve got the Toronto Maple Leafs at +250, the Boston Bruins coming off a historic season are sitting at +400, I understand why they are lower due to the changes they need to make. But what about the Florida Panthers or Tampa Bay Lightning at +400? Do either of those teams at 4:1 excite you and have the potential to win the Atlantic?
Mike McKenna: Tampa is going to be tough; I think they could pull it off. I wouldn’t bet against them.
Frank Seravalli: I would say I’d go with Florida. They’ll get their injured guys in Ekblad and Montour back, and I think they will get one top-4 defenseman. I also wonder if they will take a run at resigning Radko Gudas, maybe a cheaper number if they can afford it. But I think Gudas is in the $3 million range; he really pumped up his value this season.
