Betano has a number of different odds set up for the Stanley Cup Final, so we will be taking a look at that for the rest of the week. Today I am going to pick apart a couple of series props.

Here is what I have, Betano has a bunch of pre-made matchups between players, who is going to get more points and more goals, and I love this head-to-head between Aleksander Barkov and Jonathan Marchessault. Marchessault has been a scoring machine as of late, he scored four goals in six games against the Dallas Stars, and so far in the playoffs, he has nine goals in 17 games. If you look at Barkov, he scored twice in the four games against Carolina, which is solid but he only has four in this playoff run as a whole. Marchessault has doubled him, so there is no reason that he can’t win this match to match. You’re getting it close to even money; it’s not -150. It feels like something that’s in Jonathan Marchessault’s favourites.

Frank Seravalli: Well, I like it especially to start the series because you’re thinking we are going to have a million rest vs rust conversations leading up to the Final, and how does that impact the Panthers? Barkov hasn’t been a point-producing machine like you mentioned, so maybe this is where Jonathan Marchessault can pick up where he left off starting in round four.
