Tyler Yaremchuk joined Daily Faceoff Live for another Betano Daily Bets segment. With the season approaching fast, he takes a look at a couple of season-long bets for the Los Angeles Kings and the Calgary Flames.

Tyler Yaremchuk: I have eyed up a couple of pairs of future plays. The first one is tied into the Los Angeles Kings, Over 101.5 for them on the year. I am going to take this one personally and say stay away, maybe even lean under because I don’t trust their goaltending that much, and they were only a 103 point team last year. Books are saying the Kings could take a bit of a step back, and I’m going to agree with that. Frank, do you think they’ll hit 101.5? 

Frank Seravalli: I wouldn’t bet against it. I said it yesterday, but it’s not hard to get to 100 points anymore. I mean, nine or 10 playoff teams every year get there, so it’s not a crazy number. 

Tyler Yaremchuk: The second play I have is the Calgary Flames to get more points than the Winnipeg Jets. 

Frank Seravalli: That’s a slam dunk.

Tyler Yaremchuk: It’s not paying great. But at -133, I’m taking that all day; the Flames should, without a doubt, have a better season than the Jets. They did it last year, why can’t it be done again?
