Betano Daily Bets: Matvei Michkov draft odds

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Daily Faceoff Live for another Betano Daily Bets segment. 

It’s draft week in Nashville, Tennessee, and the 2023 NHL Draft gets underway Wednesday. Today, Yaremchuk takes a look at some Draft Props and where Russian winger Matvei Michkov could go in the draft. He also sprinkled a little bit on a goalie prop.

We had Steven Ellis on, and he talked about where he thought Matvei Michkov could go, fourth to San Jose, and talked about the Flyers and their interest in him too. Our friends at Betano have the line set at 4.5 with the over paying -192 and the under paying +135. So if you think he will go fourth overall like Ellis does, you’ll be getting +135 but above 4, -182. The payout is not great on that over, but I think that’s the play for Michkov. 

Frank Seravalli: I would take the Over 4.5, but that’s just me.

Tyler Yamrechuk: We also talked about goalies; it’s over half a goalie -134 to go in the first round.

Frank Seravalli: What was Michael Hrabal’s position there?

Tyler Yamrechuk: Over/Under 32.5

Frank Seravalli: Oh, I would take the Under on that. I think he would be the first goalie taken as Steven has said as well. That’s the better odds to go with than with a goalie in the first round, go with Hrabal at 32.5.
