Betano Daily Bets: Quinn Hughes +150 to win Norris Trophy

Gavin Turinek joined Daily Faceoff Live for another Betano daily bets segment. There are zero games on the slate tonight. However, Gavin has a futures bet lined up for Vancouver Canucks defenseman and NHL point leader Quinn Hughes to win the Norris Trophy.

Sportsnet’s Jeff Marek explained the reasoning behind the scheduling, “There are only three teams/buildings available to host games tonight – Vancouver, Calgary, Arizona. Canadian teams get sent to the US this week for Thanksgiving Eve/Black Friday since home games this week are requested by American teams.”

Gavin Turinek: Let’s check out our daily bets with Betano. 19+, please play responsibly. The game starts now with Betano.ca, and let’s jump into it.

Gavin Turinek: No games on the slate tonight. But, we are going to eye up a future prop and it’s the Norris Trophy. We’re going to give some love to Quinn Hughes here in the Norris Trophy hunt as it’s a nice juicy +150 payout. I wish I could’ve got this before the year, I was looking back and he was at +600 before the year but I’d also take the +150 that’s still good value. He’s leading the entire NHL in points and he’s one goal away from surpassing his career high. I was looking at his total time on ice, he’s ranked +15 in time on ice, and he’s a +16 on the year as well on the back end. So I really like this +150 spot for Hughes to take him the Norris this season.

Frank Seravalli: It’s going to be fascinating seeing all the Canucks in trophy hunts. You’ll have Quinn Hughes or Elias Pettersson in the  Hart Trophy race, Thatcher Demko is the clear Vezina Trophy leader at this point in the swaps and then, of course, Hughes on the backend.
