Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!

The Stanley Cup Finals have gone exactly to plan for the Vegas Golden Knights as a blowout 7-2 win in game two gave the Knights a 2-0 series lead. Vegas has outscored Florida by a nine goal margin through the first two games of the series.

Jonathan Marchessault scored twice for the Knights to stay red hot. Marchessault has scored an incredible 12 goals in his past 12 games and is now the odds-on favorite to win the Conn Smythe on Betway.

The Knights chased Sergei Bobrovsky early in the second after beating him four times on nine shots. Adin Hill continued to shine, making 29 saves on 31 shots and his sparkling .937% save percentage continues to lead the playoffs.

The Panthers will return home for game three hoping to become the first team since the 2011 Bruins to come back from a 2-0 deficit in the finals.

Here is a goalie prop I like for tonight’s game.

Goalie Prop

Adin Hill to make over 30.5 saves at -125.

This has been the bet we’ve been making all series. Hill has been tremendous in goal for the Knights since taking over for Laurent Brossoit in game three against the Oilers.

Hill has made over 31 saves in six of his last eight stars and I expect a desperate Panthers team returning home to berate Hill with shots. The Panthers hosted the Knights one time during the regular season. In that game, Hill made 39 saves on 41 shots.

Last Game Bets

Adin Hill to make over 29.5 saves

Yes, the classic bad beat. Hill made 29 saves meaning we missed this by one save. Our record for the playoffs is now 13-11.
