Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!

Game one of the Stanley Cup Finals was everything you could have hoped for, as the Vegas Golden Knights took a 1-0 series lead with a 4-2 victory over the Florida Panthers.

Timely scoring, big saves, and physicality were a common theme in game one of the series, captivating hockey fans around the globe. Zach Whitecloud scored the game-winner 6:59 into the third period and the Knights never looked back.

Vegas got two insurance goals from Mark Stone and Reilly Smith to put the game out of reach for the Panthers. Adin Hill had another solid night between the pipes, making 33 saves on 35 shots to earn third star honors.

Despite the loss, the Panthers played a solid game. They directed 35 shots on Adin Hill, both Alex Barkov and Brandon Montour hit goal posts in the second period, and Hill made a potential series-defining save on Nick Cousins that goes in nine times out ten. With some puck luck, Florida could easily be the team up in the series.

Game two will take place on Monday as the Golden Knights will look to take a 2-0 series lead. Here is a goalie bet I like for tonight’s game.

Goalie Prop

Adin Hill to make over 29.5 saves

Yes, we’re going to stick with the same bet again tonight. Hill has made over 30 saves in six of his last seven games. Game one was a high-event game with both teams combining for 69 shots, and I expect that to continue in game two.

Last Game Bet

Adin Hill to make over 29.5 saves at -110. Hill made 33 saves in the win for the Knights and got his over. Our record for the playoffs is now 13-10.
