Blue Jackets forward Patrik Laine placed on injured reserve
Patrik Laine’s red hot start has been stalled.
The Finnish sniper has been placed on the injured reserve Thursday morning, the team announced, after the forward left Wednesday nights game.
Laine collided with Avs defenseman Bowen Byram late in the game and it left Laine with an oblique strain expected to keep him out of the lineup for four-to-six weeks.
The 23-year-old has scored three goals and 10 points in nine games this season.
