Can the Senators flip the series against Maple Leafs?

Down 3-1 in their opening-round series, the Ottawa Senators will fight to keep their season alive Tuesday versus the Atlantic Division rival Toronto Maple Leafs.
On Tuesday’s episode of Daily Faceoff LIVE, Tyler Yaremchuk and Frank Seravalli talked about what a win would mean for the Senators as well as the Maple Leafs’ play so far this postseason.
Tyler Yaremchuk: If Ottawa wins tonight, there has to be a little bit of doubt climbing into the minds in Toronto, right?
Frank Seravalli: Certainly if you’re in the fanbase. I’d have to think if you’re a player who was around for that series against the Montreal Canadiens [in 2021], you’re also thinking the same thing. It feels a long way off, but we just talked about how a couple of playoff series flipped in the blink of an eye. All of sudden, the Sens, after three consecutive overtime games, if you can win one more, you’re really planting some seeds of doubt in the Maple Leafs. That’s when it starts to get fascinating, particularly coming back to Ottawa for home ice. You’re thinking, ‘Man, if that was it, it was a fun way to go out for the season’, but it could be a totally different story being written this week depending on how tonight goes. This is your opportunity. This is your moment. I will say three ways to describe this Leafs team is confident, composed, and clinical. All three words are how this team has looked in these playoffs. They’ve looked different at any point than they have in the Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner era, but I also think part of that is in relation to the quality of opponent that they’re seeing in Round 1, so buckle up.
