Canada announced its roster for the NHL’s 4 Nations Face-Off in February, and as expected, the lineup was loaded with superstars, Stanley Cup champions and future Hall of Famers.

Twenty-three players were named, including 13 forwards, seven defensemen and three goaltenders. Led by Pittsburgh Penguins’ captain Sidney Crosby, this is the first opportunity that he and Edmonton Oilers’ captain Connor McDavid could play together on the international stage.

The rest of the forward group has multiple recent Stanley Cup champions, including Florida Panthers’ Sam Bennett and Sam Reinhart, Tampa Bay Lightning’s Anthony Cirelli, Brandon Hagel and Brayden Point, as well as Vegas Golden Knights’ captain Mark Stone.

On defense, the group is led by a pair of all-star pairings in Colorado Avalanche’s Cale Makar and Devon Toews, as well as the Golden Knights’ Shea Theodore and Alex Pietrangelo.
