Cole Eiserman, Trevor Connelly among top NHL Draft prospects at 2024 USA Hockey All-American Game
USA Hockey announced the 45-man roster for the upcoming Chiptole All-American Game on January 15 in Plymouth, Michigan.

2024 top prospects Cole Eiserman and Trevor Connelly were named to Team Blue. Eiserman has tallied a team-leading 27 goals and 45 points in 23 games this season. The Newburyport, Massachusetts product is ranked No. 2 on most draft boards, Daily Faceoff prospect analyst Steven Ellis has Eiserman ranked No.2 in his draft rankings released in September. Eiserman was left off the United States preliminary roster for the 2024 World Juniors, which was a shock to many in the industry. He is expected to head to Boston University in 2025-26.
Connelly has been playing for the Tri-City Storm in the United States Hockey League (USHL) and has compiled eight goals and 18 assists for 26 points in 20 games. Connelly is ranked No. 12 on Ellis’s draft rankings and has committed to Providence College for 2025-26.
Other prospects to watch at this showcase event will be Cole Hutson, the younger brother of Montreal Canadiens top prospect Lane Hutson, Christian Humphreys, and many more. One name to keep an eye on as well is James Hagens, a top prospect eligible for the 2025 NHL Draft. Hagens has totalled 39 points in 23 games this season with the United States National Team Development Program, he was invited to Team USA’s World Juniors camp but was ultimately cut as a 17-year-old.
In total, the 45 players hail from 15 different states, with Minnesota’s 11 players leading all states. A total of 12 different teams from the USHL are represented and all 45 of the players are currently committed to playing NCAA Division I college hockey in the following two years.
Last year’s event featured first-round selections Will Smith of the San Jose Sharks, Washington Capitals prospect Ryan Leonard, Chicago Blackhawks prospect Oliver Moore, New York Rangers prospect Gabe Perreault and Minnesota Wild’s Charlie Stramel. In total, the event has produced 292 NHL Draft picks, which includes 63 first-round selections to date.
