Lindgren will bring some toughness to the blue line in Denver. The 27-year-old has spent his entire career with the Rangers since making his NHL debut during the 2018-19 season. Over the past seven seasons, he has appeared in 387 games, potting 99 points, including another 11 points in 43 Stanley Cup Playoff games with the Blueshirts.
This season, Lindgren has two goals and 17 assists for 19 points in 54 games.
It is the second time in Vesey’s career that he is leaving Manhattan. The Boston native played the first three years of his NHL career with the Rangers, before moving on to play for the Buffalo Sabres, Toronto Maple Leafs, Canucks and New Jersey Devils. He returned to the Rangers as a free agent in 2022.
This season, the former Harvard star has posted four goals and two assists for six points.
This is the second time Parssinen has been on the move this season. The Finnish center was traded to Colorado by the Nashville Predators in late December. Since arriving in Denver, Parssinen has scored two goals and four assists for six points in 22 games. In 37 games overall, the 24-year-old has posted four goals and seven assists for 11 points.
De Haan signed a one-year deal with the Avs back on July 1 with a cap hit of $800,000. The move to the Rangers marks the fifth team the 33-year-old will join in the past four seasons. He played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Hurricanes, and Tampa Bay Lightning before signing with Colorado.
In 44 games this season, de Haan has registered seven assists, posting a plus/minus of -8 while averaging a little under 15 minutes of ice time.
The Rangers (29-26-4) are fifth in the Metropolitan Division, four points back of the last Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference. The Avalanche (35-24-2) are fourth in the Central Division, holding the first Wild Card spot in the Western Conference.
