One player’s name who could pick up steam in the trade market is Arizona Coyotes centre Christian Dvorak.

According to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman, Dvorak is a player teams are expressing interest in.

One Coyote who teams definitely are interested in: centre Christian Dvorak. He’s signed for four more years at $4.45 million — although it is back-ended. He’s a good centre, and they are valued.

Dvorak’s deal is interesting to say the least. He has four years remaining on a deal paying him an AAV of $4.45-million. As noted by PuckPedia, his base salary increases in the final two years of the deal where he’s paid $5.75-million in real money in each season.

He’s shown his value on the ice in recent years. His WAR at even-strength offence and defence, according to JFresh Hockey, place him in the 80th and 63rd percentile, respectively.

Drafted by the Coyotes in the second round of the 2014 draft, Dvorak has fluctuated roles in the Coyotes top nine finding himself most recently as a first liner this past season. In 302 career NHL games, he’s scored 67 goals and 146 points.
