This value sheet includes salaries, and projections for DraftKings and FanDuel, as well as three punt options for defensemen. These largely predicate around their ability to produce peripheral points by taking shots, and blocking them. These players are always live for the bonus’ on DraftKings.

These projections don’t tell you exactly what’s going to happen. One game sample has too much randomness to pin down exact predictions. Instead, the projections represent a player’s average performance on average if that matchup was played repeatedly. There is a wide range of possible outcomes, and the projections represent each player’s average of those possibilities.

FULL DFO Daily Projections

Warren Foegele (W, EDM) – @ ANA – (DK-$3,900 / FD $5,800)
DFO Projection:
DK-9.2 / FD-12

Warren Foegele and the Oilers’ third line is popping as a great value play on this slate, and appear to be one of the better players on the slate. They have a strong matchup score and great line stats, according to DailyFaceoff’s DFS Charts, and Foegele himself has been a great value play this year. He has excellent shot volume, is finding a way to put up points and the fact he’s projecting for under five percent ownership.

Alexis Lafreniere (W, NYR) – @ CHI – ($4,200 / $5,300)
DFO Projection: DK-8.2 / FD-10.5

Lafreniere and the Rangers’ second line have an excellent matchup against the Chicago Blackhawks, in a prime spot to do some damage on this slate. While Lafreniere is projecting for just under 20 percent ownership, he’s still a great play. He’s had solid shot volume this season, and has three assists and nine shots on goal in five career games against Chicago.

Marcus Pettersson (D, PIT) @ MIN ($3,500 / $5,700)
DFO Projection: DK-8.2 / FD-15.6

Sigh. I guess we’re playing Marcus Pettersson tonight. It’s not that I don’t like the play. It’s just he doesn’t always feel like a great play if that makes sense.

Still, he’s on a great tear right now, averaging 9.9 DKFPPG over his last 10 games, and in his last five games, he has blocked 10 shots, cashing the bonus in three of them. In what Daily Faceoff’s DFS Charts project to be a high-event game, Pettersson and his sub-five percent ownership will help you get different.

Jackson LaCombe (D, ANA) vs EDM ($3,100 / $3,700)
DFO Projection: DK-6.1 / FD-7.8

On the second pairing and the Ducks’ top power play unit, LaCombe looks like an excellent play on tonight’s slate. He blocks a ton of shots and against a high-volume team like the Oilers, he’ll be live for the bonus.

Top Punt Defensemen

  1. Zach Bogosian, MIN ($2,700/ $3,600): DK-5.3 / FD-6.7
  2. Jarred Tinordi, CHI ($2,800/$3.800): DK-5.7 / FD-7.6
  3. Radko Gudas, ANA ($4,100/$4,200): DK-7.7 / FD-9.7
