Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against is generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.

Laurent Brossoit (VGK) – vs. COL (16% Owned)
Brossoit will start tonight against the Colorado Avalanche and is the only widely-available starter on a light night of action in the NHL. The Vegas Golden Knights have only won six of their last 14 (6-5-3) and are hosting an Avalanche team that just had their first regulation loss in well over a month (17-1-2). Facing the Avalanche is a daunting task for any goaltender and today makes no exception as Vegas are +119 home underdogs.
Brossoit is coming off an impressive 1-0 shutout victory in his last game but should only be streamed tonight if Fantasy owners are desperate for a start. That being said, Brossoit could be worth a speculative add, even if it means leaving him on the bench tonight. Vegas starting goalie Robin Lehner is day-to-day with an upper-body injury and the Golden Knights said that Brossoit will start a few consecutive games. After tonight, the Golden Knights will see the Kings, Sharks and Coyotes in their next three games.
