Elvis Merzlikins (CBJ) – @ FLA (32% Owned)
On a light, four-game Monday night in the NHL, Merzlikins is the only goaltender projected to start who is available in more than half of all fantasy leagues. Merzlikins has a low 34.0 implied win percentage on Monday as the Blue Jackets are +196 road underdogs against the Florida Panthers, who are 5-2-1 in their last eight. Despite saving 52 of 56 shots over his last two games (1-1-0), Merzlikins remains a risky option tonight and should probably be avoided in most formats. There will be plenty of stronger streaming options as the week progresses, so don’t risk putting yourself behind the eight-ball on day one.
