Rittich was recalled from the AHL once Pheonix Copley went on LTIR. The veteran netminder has gone 7-6-3 with a 2.63 GAA and .901 SV% in 16 AHL games this season. Those are nearly identical to the splits he posted with the Jets last year, when he was 9-8-1 with a 2.67 GAA and .901 SV%. Tonight he’ll make his Kings debut in San Jose, where the Kings are massive -262 road favourites. The Sharks went on a bit of a heater over the last two weeks but have cooled off recently, scoring just four goals in their last three games.
