If the Islanders miss the playoffs, will big changes be on the horizon?

Tyler Yaremchuk was joined by Frank Seravalli to discuss what will happen if the New York Islanders miss the playoffs on the latest episode of Daily Faceoff Live.
Tyler Yaremchuk: If the Islanders miss the playoffs again, will there be appetite for big changes in New York?
Frank Seravalli: There should be. Look, I know there was a big change to bring in Patrick Roy. And I know Lou Lamoriello still feels like he’s spry and at the top of his game. I saw him at the GM meetings this week and he’s always got a quick wit, a funny thing to say. After continued efforts with this core, if it’s not changing out the manager I think they need to make some drastic changes to try to improve a team that seems like it’s stuck in neutral.
They’re not getting better with each year that passes because they’re getting older and getting worse. There’s not really a ton to hang your hat on in terms of what’s in the pipeline and coming next. I think the Islanders are in a pretty bleak position and it just feels like they need to mix it up.
