Tampa Bay Lightning vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois announced Monday that they have signed goaltender Harrison Meneghin to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Menehign was selected in the seventh round of the 2024 NHL Draft.

Meneghin has spent the 2024-25 season with the Medicine Hat Tigers, where he recently won the WHL Championship and was named WHL Playoff MVP after putting together a 14-1 record, 2.35 goals against average, a 906 save percentage, and three shutouts.

The South Surrey, British Columbia product was dealt from the Lethbridge Hurricanes to Medicine Hat following one game of action this past season. Meneghin arrived on the scene with the powerhouse Tigers squad and immediately made an impact. Throughout the 2024-25 campaign, Meneghin put together a 23-9-2 record to go with a .901 save percentage.

In 126 career WHL games with Medicine Hat and the Lethbridge Hurricanes, Meneghin logged a 69-42-8-3 record with a .910 save percentage, 2.68 goals against average and seven shutouts. Menehgin was named to the first team and second team Central Division All-Star teams in back-to-back years.

Medicine Hat advances to the Memorial Cup for the first time since 2007, and with a loaded roster featuring Gavin McKenna, Columbus Blue Jackets top prospect Cayden Lindstrom, Calgary Flames prospect Andrew Basha and more, the Tigers look poised to win the CHL.

Medicine Hat gets things underway on Friday, facing the Memorial Cup hosts, Rimouski Oceanic, in the opening game of the tournament. There will be plenty of eyes on the Tigers this year.
