Logo unveiled for 2026 Stadium Series game between Bruins, Lightning

The hype continues to grow for one of the National Hockey League’s marquee events.
On Tuesday, the league revealed the logo for the 2026 Stadium Series, which will pit the Tampa Bay Lightning against the Boston Bruins.

— NHL (@NHL) August 5, 2025The game is set to take place on Feb. 1 at Raymond James Stadium, the traditional home of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Among the details in the logo, a pirate ship is noticeable, paying homage to the actual boat that sits behind one of the endzones at the venue, which fires off cannons whenever the Bucs score.
It will be the second outdoor game to take place in the state of Florida. The first will take place on Jan. 2, as the Florida Panthers will be hosting the New York Rangers at loanDepot Park, home of the MLB’s Miami Marlins, in the 2026 Winter Classic.
For the Lightning, the Stadium Series will mark the second time they will appear in the particular event. Tampa faced off with the Nashville Predators at Nissan Stadium in the Music City in 2022, with the Bolts coming away with a 3-2 win. Both the Bruins and Rangers will tie the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers for the second-most outdoor games in NHL history, as the Original Six franchises will each be playing in their sixth games without a roof over their heads.
However, this will be the first time Boston will be playing in a Stadium Series contest. The Bruins have played in the 2010, 2016, 2019 and 2023 Winter Classics, along with one of the NHL’s games in Lake Tahoe in 2021. Boston is 4-1 in outdoor games, with the team’s lone loss coming in 2016 against the rival Montreal Canadiens in Foxborough.
