There are many ways to honor significant achievements, such as trophies, plaques, and medals. One organization took a gigantic leap (with some big clippers) to celebrate the greatest scorer in National Hockey League history.

On Thursday, Summers Farm in Frederick, Maryland, a little over 45 miles outside of Washington, D.C., released images of a unique six-acre corn maze honoring Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin and his achievement of scoring a league-record 895 goals.

The maze features the GR8 doing what he does best, firing a shot on goal. The word “GR8NESS” and the number “895” are also cut into the maze, along with a hollowed-out Capitals logo near the center of the maze.

The maze opens up to the public on Saturday. Along with getting to ride through the cool layout, there is also Capitals-themed trivia as part of the experience. There’s no better way to spend the fall season than to celebrate the beginning of a new hockey season, while paying tribute to one of the greatest players to ever lace up his skates.

Interested fans can get tickets at the Summers Farm website. A portion of the proceeds will benefit THE GR8 CHASE for Victor Over Cancer, which supports pediatric cancer research.

Ovechkin is gearing up for his 21st season in the league and the final year of his current contract. Through 1,491 regular-season games, the Russian sniper has 897 goals and 726 assists for 1,623 points. He sits 11th all-time in points, and is destined to surpass Hockey Hall of Famer Joe Sakic (1,641) for 10th in NHL scoring.
