Minnesota Wild’s Jonas Brodin out day-to-day with upper-body injury
Minnesota Wild reporter Michael Russo reports that Jonas Brodin will not play tonight vs. Monreal and is considered day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
Brodin has tallied one goal and five assists for six points in 15 games this season.

The Karlstad, Sweden product signed a 7-year, $42 million extension with the Wild in September 2020. His contract has an average annual value (AAV) of $6 million and is currently in year four. It also has a full no-movement clause through the first four years.
Brodin made his NHL debut with the Wild back in the shortened 2012–13 season, collecting 11 points in 45 games with the team. He’s been a fixture in the lineup ever since and has helped the Wild qualify for the playoffs 10 times over that span; Brodin has skated in 67 postseason contests in his NHL career.
Minnesota is currently second in the Central Division with a 10-2-3 record and 23 points trailing the Winnipeg Jets. The Wild are slated to face the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday and then will face the 9-5-0 Dallas Stars on Saturday.
