The Nashville Predators will be without Luke Evangelista for the next four weeks as the talented right winger is sidelined with a lower-body injury, per team correspondent Robby Stanley.

Skating in his third season with the Predators, the 22-year-old Toronto native has made 39 appearances in which he has collected four goals and 10 assists for 14 points to rank seventh in team scoring. Originally chosen by the Predators in the second round of the 2022 NHL Draft, Evangelista has registered 68 points counting 27 goals and 41 assists through 143 career contests.

Beyond Evangelista, the Predators will also be without defensemen Jeremy Lauzon and Adam Wilsby on a week-to-week basis. Through 28 appearances in 2024-25, Lauzon has recorded one assist with a minus-four rating, while also ranking 15th league-wide with 127 hits. Lauzon is coming off a career-best season that saw him finish with six goals and eight assists for 14 points across 79 contests.

Lauzon joined the Predators in 2022 from the Seattle Kraken in exchange for a second-round selection in that year’s draft. Per PuckPedia, the 27-year-old Quebec native is in the third year of a four-year pact that carries a $2-million annual average value.

For Wilsby, the 24-year-old Swedish-born rearguard has split time this season between Nashville and the Milwaukee Admirals, the Predators’ top minor-league affiliate. With the Predators, Wilsby has scored once and added two assists through 15 appearances, while he has also added five points in 13 showings with the Admirals. Wilsby was chosen 101st overall by the Predators in the 2020 NHL Draft.

On the season, the Predators sit third last in the Western Conference with a 13-21-7 showing and 13 points shy of the second wildcard position. Falling 5-2 to the Central Division rival Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday, the Predators will look to rebound when the club returns to the ice Saturday against the Washington Capitals.
