The New York Islanders have placed forwards Anders Lee and Ross Johnston in COVID-19 protocols, the club announced Friday.

Lee, 31, has appeared in 12 games with the Islanders this year, scoring four goals and recording 31 shots on goal. Johnston has appeared in only one game and hasn’t scored a point.

The Islanders kick off a four-game homestand starting Saturday night. It marks the first game played in the Islanders new home arena, UBS Arena.

“It’s pretty surreal to be honest,” Lee told the New York Post earlier this week. “Since a lot of guys have been here a long time, lot of talk about a lot of different things. Different arenas and half-seasons in places, it’s always one of those conversation points you have.”
