NHL unveils all 32 jerseys for 2026-27 Hometown Remix promotion

A new look is coming to all 32 teams of the National Hockey League.
On Monday, the league, in partnership with Fanatics, the official outfitter of the NHL, unveiled the “Hometown Remix” jerseys.
The jerseys resemble the colors and identity of each individual market, with obvious ties to the team on the ice. For example, the Florida Panthers have a little pink in their uniform, with the alternate hockey stick and palm tree logo on the crest. The Chicago Blackhawks are tying into their Irish population, ditching black and red for a green-and-white jersey.
There are some unique looks as well. The Anaheim Ducks have their classic logo, but hark back to the original “Mighty Ducks” film franchise, bringing back the green and yellow sweaters donned in the first edition of the trilogy. The Los Angeles Kings are back wearing the purple and gold with a twist on their current logo, while the Washington Capitals brought back the U.S. Capitol patch, tying it in with the outline of their original jersey design.
This isn’t the first time the league has created unique sweaters to bring new looks to its franchises. Along with individual teams introducing third (or fourth) jerseys, the league generated revenue with two editions of the Reverse Retro promotions around the COVID-19 pandemic, which brought both praise and criticism to the league and Adidas, the league’s uniform supplier back then.
The concept of “hometown” jerseys can be tied to what the NBA and Major League Baseball have done in the past. The NBA was first to do this sort of promotion, introducing the City Edition jerseys ahead of the 2017-18 campaign. They have since had several editions. MLB brought in City Connect uniforms in 2021, with some organizations continuing to use some of their past uniforms ever since.
