According to Daily Faceoff’s Jason Gregor, Edmonton Oilers veteran Adam Henrique will draw into the lineup for Game 3 against the Dallas Stars.

Henrique last played in Game 1 vs. Vancouver and has been held out of the lineup for what has been described as a lower-body alignment.

Henrique has tallied one goal and one assist for two points in six Stanley Cup Playoff games with the Oilers. The 34-year-old veteran has six goals and nine assists for 15 points in 34 career Stanley Cup Playoff contests with the Oilers, New Jersey Devils and Anaheim Ducks.

Henrique was acquired from the Anaheim Ducks at the trade deadline alongside Sam Carrick for the Oilers’ 2024 first-round pick and a conditional 2025 fifth-round pick, he finished the season with 51 points in 82 games between the Oilers and the Ducks. Henrique would score six goals and three assists for nine points in 22 games with the Oilers.

Edmonton took Game 1 against Dallas 3-2 in double overtime fashion with none other than Connor McDavid scoring the game-winner. The Oilers fell to Dallas in Game 2 by a score of 3-1 which saw Dallas even the series up at 1-1. Edmonton will look to regain momentum and take the series lead tonight on home ice.
