PointsBet Daily Bets: Blake Wheeler assist prop & Nikolai Ehlers shot prop

Just one game on the slate tonight as we head into a by-week and the NHL All-Star break. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s matchup between the St. Louis Blues vs. Winnipeg Jets 

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. There is just one game in the National Hockey League tonight as we are slowing down with about half the league is on their by-week. We got the Winnipeg Jets taking on the St. Louis Blues and there are a couple of plays in this one that I like. Starting with a Blake Wheeler assist prop, this is plus money right now and guess what? He’s got five assists in his last five games, which do include a couple of multi-assist games but regardless I like Wheeler to pick up an apple.  I like the Jets to keep their offence going, the Blues have been struggling as of late and have allowed 21 goals against in their last five games and north of 25 shots on goal in four of those games.

That’s why I will also be taking the Nikolaj Ehlers shot prop, it’s set at 3.5 and he’s crushed this in four of his last five games. I love him to do it again tonight against a Blues team that is just struggling right now and a Jets squad that should be highly motivated after they got called out. So tonight, give me a Wheeler assist prop, and an Ehlers shot prop. Those are my two plays for a small and lonely night in the NHL.
