Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s get to our PointsBet Daily Bets segment brought to you by our friends at PointsBet Canada. Tonight I like targeting the top matchup between the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Tampa Bay Lightning. For the Lightning, the over has hit in six of 10, and Columbus hasn’t been that good but if Elvis Merzlikins gets the start I really like this play. He’s allowed 19 goals against in his last five starts. Brian Elliott is going in net for the Bolts and he’s had 16 goals against in his last five. I like taking the over 6.5.

I also have a couple shot props for you as well, starting with that Dallas Stars vs. Washington Capitals game. Roope Hintz to go over 2.5 shots, it’s sitting at +110, that is way too good considering he’s hit it in four of his last five. I’m also going with  Zach Hyman in that Edmonton Oilers and St. Louis Blues game. McDavid and Draisaitl get a ton of love from the sportsbooks and Hyman has hit his shot prop in five in a row and eight of his last 10, you’re getting it +115, that is tremendous value. Also, I’ll throw a little on him to pick up an assist tonight, he’s hit that in four of his last five and seven of his last 10. He’s playing on the Oilers’ top power play unit and the Blues are 31st in penalty kill percentage.
