Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. Let’s start with the matchup between the Vancouver Canucks and Nashville Predators. The Predators have won two in a row, and six wins in their last 10 games as well. The Canucks aren’t good, you could say “yeah they got Demko back” but that is negated to me due to the fact that Jusse Saros is down in the other crease. The Preds on the road this season are 15 wins and 15 losses straight up, and the Canucks on the road are 12 wins and 18 losses. So give me the Predators at -110 on the Moneyline for my first play.
Up next, the Edmonton Oilers taking on the Buffalo Sabres. The over-under is set at 7, that is a high number but I am not scared of high numbers. Edmonton has seen the over hit in three straight and five of their last six games. The Sabres have seen the over hit in four straight and six of their last seven games. Give me the over, it’s expected to be Craig Anderson against Stuart Skinner in the net so we could very easily get seven or eight goals in this hockey game.
Finally, for the shot prop, we are sticking with the Oilers and Sabres game. We are targeting Zach Hyman. He’s hit this number in three of his last five, Hyman over 3.5 shots is paying +110. This line is moving so I have jumped on it quickly. I think Hyman should crush it, he’s been doing it consistently as of late and I like when I can get this bet in the plus money range.
