PointsBet Daily Bets: Jets/Red Wings Moneyline & Nikita Kucherov shot prop

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Mike McKenna on Tuesday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Bets segment.

Ten games on the slate tonight. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s matchups including the Detroit Red Wings vs. Winnipeg Jets and the Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Columbus Blue Jackets.

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. Looking at the matchup between the Winnipeg Jets vs Detroit Red Wings. This line is way too short; even if Connor Hellebuyck is not the confirmed starter yet I have no problem laying down some coin on the Jets Moneyline at -131. I’ll throw a little on the Puckline as well. Andrew Patterson had an interesting note earlier this game that if the Jets win this game it’s actually going to be Rick Bowness’s ticket to the All-Star Game as well. That team is going to be highly motivated. They’ve been a decent road bet this season so far, they are 8-10 on the road and the Red Wings at home have only won nine of their 20 games. Red Wings are ice cold, losers of three in a row and the Jets are red hot, winners of five in a row. This all points to me going all in on Winnipeg this evening.

I’m also taking the Nikita Kucherov shot prop out in the Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Columbus Blue Jackets game. The Lightning are massive favorites to win at -450; there is no value in betting on them beating the Blue Jackets. But, I think they will be able to dominate the possession game and that will lead to a lot of shots. So I love taking Kucherov to go over 3.5 and he’s crushed this in three of his last five games.
