PointsBet Daily Bets: Nathan MacKinnon & Auston Matthews assist prop + shot prop parlay

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. I have a couple of parlays for a quiet night in the NHL with only three games on tap after a pretty busy Sunday. Let’s start with an assist parlay, I like the Toronto Maple Leafs, and I like the Colorado Avalanche but it’s hard to find value. Nathan MacKinnon has assists in two of his last three games, and Auston Matthews has an assist in three of his last five games. They’re both going up against opponents that have really bled goals as of late, and they just aren’t good at keeping pucks out of the net this season as a whole. So why not bet on MacKinnon and Matthew to each pick up an apple in this game? They’ve been hitting this as of late and if you play this together it’s a +195 that is juicy and I like it. 

Secondly, a shot prop parlays tonight. We are starting with Max Domi of the Dallas Stars, he didn’t hit this last game but prior to that it was 12 in a row with at least two shots on goal and that’s all we need from him tonight. So, over on Domi and the under on Colorado’s Mikko Rantanen. Sometimes star players have their shot prop artificially boosted due to their name, Rantanen has probably been Colorado’s MVP this season so his number is set at 3.5. But, he actually hasn’t hit this in eight straight games. The payout isn’t great at -180 but if you play these two together and it’s nearly +130.
