Five games on the slate. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s matchup between Vladimir Tarasenko and Artemi Panarin’s New York Rangers Vs. Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and the Edmonton Oilers.
Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. I’ve got a couple of plays set around one game tonight and it’s the New York Rangers taking on the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers last season were an amazing home bet, but this season they’ve been a brutal home bet; they are 13 out of 15 straight up. If you take a look at the Rangers on the road they are 16 and 9 straight up. So, you’re going to give me +110 on a team that’s won six in a row against a team that just lost to the Detroit Red Wings on home ice. I think the Rangers are actually at a very good value spot here.
For Oilers fans, we are targeting a prop and it’s Leon Draisaitl at over 2.5 shots on goal. The line was set at -130 an hour ago, the money is coming in on this, he’s crushed it in three in a row, and he’s racked up four shots, four shots and eight shots in his last three games. The payout isn’t great, but I think Draisaitl is a lock tonight. Take the Rangers to win, and Draisaitl to put up at least two shots on the net.
