PointsBet Daily Picks: Blues/Hawks Moneyline & Dahlin/McDavid shot props

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Mike McKenna on Wednesday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Picks segment. 

Just three games on the schedule tonight. Tyler Yaremchuk brings you all your betting needs for tonight’s matchups: the Buffalo Sabres vs Ottawa Senators, St. Louis Blues vs Chicago Blackhawks and L.A. Kings vs Edmonton Oilers.

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump into our Daily Picks segment brought to you by our friends at PointsBet Canada. Let’s jump into the lines starting at the bottom. We got Blues versus Blackhawks, it’s -180 on the Moneyline and we heard Cam Charron talk about the Blues bouncing back a little bit so I like them to get a victory tonight and I like them to win in regulation at -110. This Blues team has won three in a row and this Blackhawks team only has three wins in their last 10 games as well, so this is a pretty good spot with the Blues at -110 in regulation. 

Two shot props tonight. The first one is in that Buffalo versus Ottawa game. Rasmus Dahlin is in auto bet territory, he has hit his shot prop in nine straight games and yeah it’s not paying great, -190 is not a great line. But, if he’s going to keep hitting it, I will keep betting on it, as that is basically free money at that point. So, Dahlin over 2.5 shots on goal, even though the payout isn’t great I will still hammer that one. I am also taking Connor McDavid to go over 3.5 shots on goal in this game. He’s hit this in four of five, and even though he missed this last game, he’s also hit it in 12 of 16 games so far this season. He’s hitting this on a tremendous clip, he’s back on home ice for the Edmonton Oilers so I like McDavid to dominate the Kings matchup similar to how he dominated them in Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. So, McDavid shot prop, Dahlin shot prop and Blues in regulation are my three bets of the day.
