PointsBet Daily Picks: Martin Necas & Gustav Forsling shot props

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Frank Seravalli and Mike McKenna on Wednesday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Picks segment.

With just a few games on the slate tonight, Yaremchuk breaks down your betting needs for the Carolina Hurricanes vs Florida Panthers matchup.

Frank Seravalli: Let’s get into our Daily Faceoff daily bets segment with Tyler Yaremchuk. Tyler, a big bounce-back night for the big guy.

Tyler Yaremchuk: We went 4-1 yesterday, the only thing we missed was the Ottawa Senators Moneyline but went a perfect three-for-three on the shot props though and I’m loving them on PointsBet Canada. So, that’s right where I’m going tonight.

Heading into that Florida/Carolina game courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. At first, I was on the fence about this one, both these teams are great at preventing shots at 5-on-5, but they’re also both great at pushing the pace at getting shots at five-on-five. So, ultimately I think this is an okay game to take a look at some shot props. There are two that I don’t think are quite priced right, starting with Martin Necas of the Carolina Hurricanes. His line is set at 2.5 and the over is paying -125, I nailed this bet on Friday and I’m going right back to it. Necas has hit this in five in a row, and eight of his twelve games so far this season. The other one I like is Gustav Forsling, over 2.5 paying -120, again none of these are plus money, but I think they are both great spots. Forsling has hit this in six in a row and he’s hit this in 10 of thirteen games so far this season. I love these two spots, two guys who have been hitting this really consistently and I think they’re both great options for tonight’s NHL slate.
