PointsBet Daily Picks: Oilers Moneyline & Rasmus Dahlin shot prop
Tyler Yaremchuk joined Frank Seravalli, and Colby Cohen on Thursday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Picks segment.
With 10 games on the slate tonight in the NHL, Yaremchuk brings you all your betting needs on three key matchups between the Carolina Hurricanes vs Edmonton Oilers, New Jersey Devils vs Ottawa Senators, and the Buffalo Sabres at home against Jack Eichel and the Vegas Golden Knights.
Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s dig into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. Starting with the Edmonton Oilers taking on the Carolina Hurricanes. The Canes played last night in Florida, their second back-to-back, and no Freddie Andersen either so they’re expected to go with Pyotr Kochetkov between the pipes. Edmonton just beat Tampa Bay the other day, now they’ve had a day off. I know Evander Kane is out for the Oilers but this is a McDavid and Draisaitl team still. I like Edmonton at +125 on the Moneyline as the road dogs tonight.
I also like taking New Jersey on the Puckline this evening over Ottawa. Yeah, the Sens couldn’t come through against Vancouver and they’re really struggling right now. The Devils are the opposite of struggling, they look like they can’t be beaten. So if you’re going to give me +135 on them to win by two or more, I’m going to take it every day of the week.
Finally, Rasmus Dahlin and his shot prop tonight. He’s been crushing this as of late, he’s hit this in five straight and nine of 12 so far this season. He’s averaging over four shots per game, you’re giving me over 2.5 and I’m taking that every day. Those are my three plays, Frank.
