The Val-d’Or, Quebec product was originally selected No. 52 overall by the Boston Bruins in the 2015 NHL Draft. He spent three seasons with the Bruins before the Seattle Kraken selected him in the expansion draft in 2021. During the 2021-22 NHL trade deadline, Lauzon was dealt to the Predators. Lauzon quickly established himself with the Preds, notching two goals and seven points, including one goal in 13 games with the Predators.
Nashville re-signed Lauzon to a four-year, $8 million contract that has an average annual value (AAV) of $2 million. He is currently in year three of that deal and it will expire at the end of the 2025-2026 season where Lauzon will end up being an unrestricted free agent.
Meanwhile, the 6-foot-4, 205-pound left-shot Gravel is serving as captain of the Admirals for the second straight campaign and has recorded five points in 25 games this season.
The Predators are currently seventh in the Central Division with a 13-20-7 and 33 points in 40 games. Nashville is set to face the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday, the Washington Capitals on Saturday and then the Vegas Golden Knights on January 14th.
