“Tickets already purchased for the postponed game will be honored at the re-scheduled game,” said the league in a statement. “Those who already have purchased tickets will be contacted directly.”
Ottawa and Boston are the two remaining teams who have only played one game this season. Ottawa lost 3-2 in overtime to Montreal in their home opener on Jan. 2, and Minnesota defeated Boston 3-2 on Jan. 3.
Minnesota sits in first place with a 2-0-0 start, while New York, Toronto and Montreal are tied for second with 1-1-0 records.
Minnesota forward Grace Zumwinkle leads the league in scoring with four points, fuelled by a hat trick she recorded in last Saturday’s 3-0 win over Montreal at home. Last season, she scored 61 points in 39 games with the University of Minnesota.
The next two games on the schedule are this Wednesday as New York hosts Montreal and Minnesota hosts Toronto.
