PWHL Toronto’s Jocelyne Larocque suspended one game for illegal cross-check
The PWHL announced Friday that Toronto defender Jocelyne Larocque has been suspended one game for an illegal cross-check to the head of Boston forward Alina Muller in their game last Wednesday.

The league also announced that Ottawa forward Tereza Vanisova has been fined $250 for a hit from behind on New York forward Abby Roque in their game on Wednesday.

Vanisova was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct for the hit. It was her first game with Ottawa after being traded on Monday from Montreal for defender Amanda Boulier.
“The PWHL Player Safety Committee monitors all games and is responsible for providing independent review and recommendations on supplementary discipline,” the league said in a statement.
Toronto sits at the top of the league standings with a 13-5-0 record and 36 points, while Ottawa is fourth with a 6-6-6 record and 24 points.
The two teams play one another on Saturday in Ottawa before taking the next three weeks off for the international break.
